For this blog, Haidak shares his thoughts about music producers and why they deserve people’s respect.

To put things in perspective, most of the musicians, singers, and performers on screen and stage are tied to music producers. To be accurate, the quality of their work, especially when songs and scores are involved, depend heavily on music producers. Unfortunately, music producers are overshadowed by artists and other talents.

Most of the songs of their favorite artists people hear on their radio are possible because of music producers. Music producers are the people responsible for turning raw recordings into playable tracks on the radio and every other medium. And these aren’t just any tracks; these are usually the best mixes of a recording. It typically takes hours or days to come out with this for a single song. So, one could imagine how much time and effort it would take for a music producer to come out with an entire album.

People don’t become music producers overnight, Haidak adds. They take up music (or sound) production in college and attend workshops and seminars to earn their accreditation.

Haidak is an up-and-coming DJ and producer, who has found his home base between Koh Phangan and Amsterdam. Born in Washington, D.C., Haidak discovered his love for electronic music early in life. At the age of 17, he made the leap and purchased Ableton and got to work learning the craft. For more of his music and his career, check out this this page.
